Story Submission Guidelines
for stories to be posted — with your byline -- on our 'Outreach' section We welcome submission of stories — by nurses and concerned citizens. — that demonstrate how UN SDG #3 ‘Good Health & Well-Being’ — plus other UN SDGs — are being achieved, locally, nationally and globally. We also welcome stories that promote the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Nursing students and other students from related disciplines — at all levels — are encouraged to submit!!!

Here are the details:
• Develop a story text between 1000 and 1500 words.
• This can be a story or about yourself and your work, someone or something else. • Have permission to share the story — if it is about someone else. • Share your story to illustrate UN SDG # 3 and at least one additional SDG (See UN Global Goals). • Write your narrative to interest a general audience — rather than specific to a nursing audience. • For your outline, consider using a news format — answering these questions: Who? What? When? Where? Why? and How? Write short paragraphs on each if you wish. |
• Include at least 2 high-resolution images — 3 or 4 would be better — to illustrate your story.
• Provide a brief caption text for each image, including a relevant photographer credit.
• If you’re telling a story already featured on the Internet, please include the related link(s).
• Also submit your own short narrative bio text (250-500 words) and submit your high-resolution headshot.
