experts in global communications strategies who are experienced in advancing informed concerns. Among these ‘friends’ are those who have worked within the United Nations, its Agencies and related collaborating organizations of civil society. The Nightingale Initiative for Global Health — often called NIGH — was formally established in 2006, as 'NIGH USA' — a US non-profit 501(c)3 based in Washington, DC, also in Santa Fe, New Mexico. For global outreach, ‘NIGH World ' — a Canadian non-profit corporation formed in 2008 — was also established and, in 2019, in Switzerland. NIGH's support derives from private donations, sponsorships, partnerships and with substantial in-kind and pro-bono contributions and volunteering. We are also exploring further support and resources for specific projects through upcoming collaborations with schools, universities, media and related civil society stakeholders with similar goals.
