Highlights from the Virtual Launch  of Our Nurses' Voices Campaign
Dr. Amelia Tuipulotu is the Chief Nursing Officer of the World Health Organization (WHO).  When NIGH’s team met with her to share our ‘Nurses’ Voices’ plans, she encouraged us to highlight her recent message here—to celebrate the Virtual Launch of our 'Nurses' Voices' Campaign.

a very strong voice for the values needed in our world!”

The Virtual Launch of our ‘Nurses’ Voices’ Campaign was broadcast from Switzerland, on July 21, 2023, from the 2023 Caux Forum 'Healing the Wounds of the Past'  where 33 participants—including student nurses—joined from 12 nations and 5 WHO Regions.
This Launch  follows Florence Nightingale's advice for nurses to share our concerns, compassion, and commitments with the world.  In 1893, she said, “You must form public opinion!”
“Nursing creates a dimension—a quality of healing and caring that transcends some of the
ordinary possibilities that we might expect of ourselves.”
