Remembering the 2010 International Year of the Nurse /Florence Nightingale Centennial...
For the First Time! Nurses Advocate for Global Goals 

​One of the highlights of the 2010 International Year of the Nurse / Florence Nightingale Centennial was a Global Service Commemorating Nightingale & Nursing — co-hosted by NIGH and STTI —  featuring many notable nursing leaders and experienced by an overflowing audience at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC.  Dateline April, 25, 2010.

​During the Service's opening  Processional and closing Recessional, nursing leaders carried large banners depicting each of the eight United Nations Millennium Development Goals (see Webcast below).
