Remembering the 2010 International Year of the Nurse /Florence Nightingale Centennial...
For the First Time! Nurses Advocate for Global Goals!

One of the highlights of the 2010 International Year of the Nurse / Florence Nightingale Centennial was a Global Service Commemorating Nightingale & Nursing — co-hosted by NIGH and STTI — supported by Johnson & Johnson and  featuring many notable nursing leaders and experienced by an overflowing audience at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC.  Dateline April, 25, 2010. During this Service's opening  Processional and closing Recessional, nursing leaders carried large banners depicting each of the eight United Nations Millennium Development Goals (see Webcast below).
