Silvina Malvárez, RN, MMH, MMCH, PhD
Dr. Silvina Malvárez resides in Córdoba, Argentina. Her distinguished career includes serving as the Regional Nurse Advisor for the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO)—the Western Hemisphere Office of the World Health Organization (WHO)— from 2002 to 2013. Dr. Malvarez currently serves as a Professor and Researcher at the School of Public Health at the National University of Córdoba and the National University of Rosario, in Argentina. She also serves as a Professor in the Doctoral Program of the Faculty of Nursing at University Andrés Bello, in Chile and the General Coordinator of the International Nursing Networks Initiative. In 2008, Dr. Malvarez collaborated with WHO and NIGH to achieve the Spanish language subtitling for WHO's 60th Anniversary Video:Enfermeras y Parteras! Ahora Más que Nunca Por un Mundo Saludable! In 2020, she again collaborated with NIGH to achieve the Spanish language version of the Nightingale Declaration for A Healthy World. |
