NIGH's History: Part 2 —
Inspire, Inform, Initiate & Involve / 1996 to 2011
Over time, NIGH's work and outreach has continued to grow. In the ramp-up to the 2010 International Year of the Nurse, NIGH's core team members have made related keynote presentations in Athens, Bangkok, Beijing, Caracas, Chicago, Istanbul, London, Mumbai, New York City, Quebec City, Ottawa, Seoul, Toronto, Washington, DC. We have also facilitated related workshops in leadership, development and media capacities in Asia and across the US and Canada.
During our initial years — 1996-2011 — see four slideshows below — more than 50 NIGH volunteers have served as Board Directors, Advisors, United Nations Representatives and Youth Representatives and translators.  The top-right photo shows two of NIGH's strongest Canadian supporters. Dionne Sinclair, RN MSN and Poonam Sharma, RN, MSN — both  are leaders and nursing educators in the Province of Ontario — and have served on the NIGH World Board of Directors.  The lower-right photo shows NIGH's strongest collaborators from China. The upper inset is of Jane Sun — a Chinese/Canadian who served on the NIGH World Board of

To further illustrate the unique lens that NIGH has established and innovations explored — we developed four historic 'slide show' presentations — using NIGH's 'Integral Models'  as an overarching theme — pictured left, from NIGH's archives and included in Part Four.
