This is a new version of the Our Nightingale Prayer — first presented in Istanbul at the 'Scutari Barracks' where Nightingale worked during the 1854-1856 Crimean War, This Prayer is also often used in ceremonies honouring Nightingale and on front pages of many related textbooks and journal articles.

THE HEALERS Music Video was inspired, in 2023, by our Nurses' Voices Campaign, by our Nurses' Voices Speaker Series (2023-2024) and by our Student Nurses' Voices Speaker Series (2024-2025). This free-verse poem was written and narrated by Dr. Maria Theresa 'Tess' Panizales, NIGH's NGO-United Nations Representative in New York City . This poem is also recited at the beginning of each of our 'Student Nurses' Voices' Sessions.
This See the Person Who Is A Nurse Music Video shares a free-verse poem crafted by Sandra ‘Sandy’ Mohsan, a retired CRN, BSN, PHN, TNP and Caritas Coach® — and friend of NIGH — who was inspired by our recent ‘Student Nurses' Voices from Southeast Asia.’ Narrated by Dr. Maria Theresa 'Tess' Panizales — as above — this Music Video also features three Nurse-Artist colleagues, Dr. Mary Rockwood Lane, Anne Pera and Ramona Gheorghe.
